It all started with a rib recipe...

In 2013, Chase had just started a job working on a tug boat in Seattle when he sent me a rib recipe with the words, "you need to make this when I get home!" Since then there has been a lot of those texts and a lot of recipes from chefs who have spent their lives living offshore and cooking for those who spend most of their time away from home.

Here, you'll find my take on their recipes, with ingredients from those who have sailed the world turned into the comforting meals they crave when they finally come home.
